NINO-Percussionist/producer

French percussionist “Nino” started playing in Australia in 2004. Blending African
drumming and Latin conga styles makes his performances adapt to any music in a new way that will resonate deep into the souls of the dancing crowds. The temperature will rise all the more as Electro / House is coming from the dex.

Having played in Brisbane and the Gold Coast's hottest music festivals such as “Future Music”, “Stereosonic”, “V-Festival” and clubs including “The MET”, “GPO”, “Empire” and “Ruby Tramp” to name a few, El nino has induced ear-gasms, toe-tapping and hip-spasms in more people than one could count to, now reaching as far as Melbourne (@ “Revolver”), Sydney (@ “Beck.s
Berlin Sessions”) and back home in New-Caledonia.

The list of DJs that Nino has accompanied also stretches out to include the vast majority of Electro / House DJs in Queensland as well as internationals including “Utah Saints” (UK), “NielC” (NLD), “Boogie Army” (DEU), “Davina” (FRA), “Deepchild” (AUS) and “Craig Obey” (AUS).

Nino has now teamed up with Australian singer Nikki Rich to form his own electronic music
group: N1N0. After years of producing rock bands and performing at the biggest festivals in
Australia, Nino decided to form this project which would blend his knowledge of music
production with the more electronic and twisted elements of electro / house. Teaming up with Nikki
Rich has seen the formation of “N1N0” and the development of original songs with the sweetest of
vocals. The music to come out of the studio in the near future is said to be a blend of electro and
rock. You can expect the live shows to be full of banging beats, live percussions, sweet lady vocals
and good times overall.
Whatever the occasion for going out clubbing, the hot resonance of The El Nino effect will turn up the temperature with sizzling percussions and drum beats. Just like his
namesake, his alluring and almost hypnotic beat patterns will leave you breathless and wet with
perspiration.
