Sharif-Saxophonist/producer

Sharif’s love for music span’s back to his early childhood, growing up in the early 80’s he was exposed to the likes of the Cure, New Order and Bob Marley . As his overall appreciation of music grew so did his knowledge and passion for classical, jazz and funk. Sharif’s ability for improvisation is awesome, with a real aptitude for house and electronica.

Writing became the new passion (and still is) gradually building a rough array of songs and general ideas he decided to give music at an academic level a go, trying out for music production/ song writing course’s at the Queensland Conservatorium, pursuing the Bachelor of Popular Music.

With performances at Good Vibrations, Summerfieldayz & many many venues and few single releases (Hussle, Ministry of Sound), Sharif is seriously 1talented cat.

Sharif currently performs at his resident clubs i.e. the Monastery, Uber, the Family and Rush lounge among others..

Although he loves performing he equally loves writing music and doesn’t intend to slow down yet so stayed tuned here for upcoming Sharif releases.
